Mother’s Day 2012 at Spring, JuChunYuan

A special day dedicated just for her.
She who loves me at my worst and hold me at my weakest, my beloved mummy ♥

Choice of cuisine: Asian Chinese Food (Her favourite)

Restaurant: Spring JuChunYuan
Location: Far East Square, 130 Amoy Street #01-01 Singapore 049959
Tel: 6536 2655

The exquisite classy oriental design was my deciding factor
after going through the huge selection of restaurants online (I’m more particular about ambience)

On a weekday night with only one table taken,
just what we would like- some personal family time:

And as usual, making my time worth with random snaps of myself:

They had a Mother’s day special menu, but catered for a minimum of 7-8 persons,
so we went Ala-carte.

Claypot Cod Fillet with Mushrooms, which was impressively good!

Sir fried Pork Loin with vegetables, tender yet chewy:

Fried Egg York Prawns, taste of the olden times:

The noodles were perfectly cooked with a brilliant texture that glides down the throat:

All in all, we were absolutely pleased with the gratifying food!
You wouldn’t believe it, but the bill came up to only about a hundred bucks. Unexpectedly, too reasonably priced.

Why blame what you do not have than to cherish what you do?

I might not come from the richest family,
but I know that I couldn’t have been any better without my dearest parents.
I might not have been the best daughter,
but I live with one motivation, to provide the best for my parents.

My mum has instilled me with strong values of life,
although I’m still pretty much trying to achieve her level of tolerance.

They say, a virtuous woman is wise and takes the best care of her family,
and that pretty much sums up my mum. She loves and she gives, never expecting any returns.

There are times when I feel demoralized, when I feel like giving up…
I look at myself and I question, “How much have I done for this great woman, the most important person in my life?”

Nothing. Nothing compared to what that she has provided for me.

Thank you mummy, for being my pillar of support,
for teaching me to appreciate those who love than to seek from those that don’t.

I love you, Happy Mummy Day

Universal Studios Trip, featuring Transformers!

Special Announcement: WINNERS for my Fashion Giveaway!
Thank you for the participation my dearest all, I look forward to the next giveaway already :)

Together with the family, we headed to Resort World Sentosa
one fine morning,  just for the Theme Park!

Weee! Converting the “Monopoly” money (vouchers from casino) to our amusement park passes:

Needless to say… like a protocol, we have to get a group shot with the globe:

The Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters were not ready during my previous visit at USS’s opening.
So apart from the highly raved Transformers’, my aim was to conquer both the Human and Cylon coasters!
Of course I did! Adrenaline rush’s my addiction and secret thrill. Hahaha

Taking a break with the faint-hearted at the boat ride:
(Only me and Winnie attempted the roller coasters LOL)
She would have chickened out in the past too, but I guess flying around helped boost her courage after all :X

And finally, the much anticipated Transformers’ Ride!

It felt like an entirely different dimension the moment we stepped in, like a movie came true:

OH MY GAWD, WHAT’S THAT?

It wasn’t just the impressive machines and decorations that was jaw dropping,
guess who did we see there?

YES!!! Vanness Wu! Not a huge fan, but he’s pretty hot, no?
Point is, he smiled and waved at us :p

I came out, even more proud than ever as a Singaporean.
Can you believe it? The RWS Theme park is the FIRST to have the Transformers’ Ride!

I was practically AWED by how FREAKING spectacular and bewildering the entire ride was.
SERIOUS, this is exactly what I would swear upon not to be missed.
Literally, we were absorbed into the screen and the 4D virtual experience was just MIND BLOWING.
It actually made the Shrek’s 3D show LAME.

If you haven’t go for it, you would want to go for it now!

Grabbing my favourite snack:

We rushed over to catch the stage show, which was fabulous too!
The performers were natural and their act was brilliantly engaging.
Just gotta love the intriguing stunts and stage effects:

We rounded our fun-packed day with a gratifying dinner
at USS’s Chinese Restaurant, great for families:

Till then. I’ll be back, Universal Studios.
